Anvil Press Poetry is an independent poetry publishing house that specializes in poetry.

Based in Greenwich, south-east London, Anvil was founded in 1968 by Peter Jay. It specialises in contemporary poetry in English poets,[1] and translated poetry from all eras, from ancient classics to modern and contemporary poets.
The company's staff consists of just two people: Peter Jay (founder, editorial and production director) and Kit Yee Wong (administration, rights)[2]
