Diana Bridge

Diana Bridge (born 1942) is a New Zealand poet.[1]

Life[]

Bridge was born and raised in Wellington.[2]

She attended Queen Margaret College and Victoria University of Wellington.[2] She earned a Ph.D. in Chinese literature from the Australian National University, Canberra.[3]

She has studied, researched and taught Chinese language, literature and art history, and early Indian art history.[3]

She is married to diplomat Nick Bridge.[2]

Recognition[]

Bridge received the Lauris Edmond Memorial Award for Poetry in 2010 for her contribution to New Zealand poetry.[4]
