Disillusion[]
Darkness and the wind are between the tall stones of the temple.
No priest is there, no voice, no fire on the altar;
Silence alone and darkness, and the mocking wind.
This is the end of dreams. O empty sky,
O deaf and silent earth, O broken dreams!
I have besought the dust that my hands hold.
