Erin Belieu (born September 25, 1967) is an American poet and academic.[1]

Life[]

Belieu was born in Omaha, Nebraska. She graduated from Boston University with a B.F.A., and from Ohio State University with an M.F.A.[1]

She has taught at Washington University in St. Louis, Boston University, Kenyon College, and Ohio University. She teaches at Florida State University.[2]

Her work has appeared in The Atlantic Monthly, Esquire, Slate,[3] Nerve, The Yale Review, TriQuarterly, Ploughshares, The New York Times, Tin House, and The Virginia Quarterly Review.[4] She has served as managing editor of AGNI.

In September 2006, Belieu went on the Wave Press Poetry Bus Tour, along with poets such as Matthew Zapruder, Joshua Beckman, Eileen Myles and Arthur Sze.
