Ethel Castilla (1861 - 27 March 1937)[1] was an Australian poet.
Life[]
Castiall was born Ethelrita Ramos de Castilla in Kyneton, Victoria,[1] the daughter of May (Robertson) (daughter of an Edinburgh writer) and Frederic Ramos de Castilla, an Englishman of Spanish descent. She lived mainly in Melbourne. She was a frequent contributor to The Australasian and the Sydney Mail.[2]
She died at Camberwell, Victoria.[1]
