Francesca Abbate is an American poet and academic.
Life[]
Abbate received a B.A. from Beloit College, an M.F.A. from the University of Montana, and a Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee.[1] As of 2012, she was an associate professor of English at Beloit.[2]
She has been poetry editor of the Cream City Review, and has published in magazines including Field, the Iowa Review, and The Journal.[1]
Recognition[]
Honors she has won include the William Harrold Memorial Award.[1]
