Fred G. Bowles (1899-1918 fl.) was an English or American poet and lyricist.
Life[]
Little can be found of Bowles online. Wikipedia (which has no article on him) calls him "a Tin Pan Alley lyricist."[1] A song of his, "The Kentucky Love Song," was written in 1912, and performed by both Amanda Aldridge and Roland Hayes.[2] Another, "Sorrow No More," was recorded in 1916 by Harold Craxton.[3]
