Julie Lechevsky is an American poet.
Life
Lechevsky attended Oberlin College.[1]
Her poetry has appeared in Seneca Review, The Literary Review, 5 A.M., Hanging Loose, West Branch, Cimarron Review, Southern Humanities Review, and Southern Poetry Review.[1]
She lives in Blacksburg, Virginia, where she works as a massage therapist and sings the blues in local clubs.[1]
Recognition
Her first poetry collection,Doll, was awarded the 2001 Tennessee Chapbook Prize. Her collection, I'm a Serious Something, won the 2003 Riverstone Poetry Chapbook Award. She has been nominated twice for a Pushcart Prize.[1]
