Rev. Lionel Thomas Berguer (1789-1831 fl.) was a English poet, pamphleteer, and cleric.[1]
Life[]
Few details are recorded of Berguer, who was a young acquaintance of Sir Walter Scott. He wrote poetry and political pamphlets, the latter successful enough to be go through several editions.[1] He published in the Spectator, Guardian, Observer, Tatler, and other periodicals.[2]
