Theresa J. Wolfwood is a Canadian poet and essayist.
Life[]
Wolfwood studied geology and geography at the University of British Columbia.[1]
Wolfwood has worked as a geologist in Canada, USA, Ethiopia and Eritrea. She has been a private researcher, writer and editor of scientific and social issues, and has also been employed as a naturalist and adult educator.[1]
Wolfwood is the director of the Barnard-Boecker Centre Foundation in Victoria, British Columbia. She organizes, writes, and speaks on issues concerning peace, social justice, women, globalization and human rights. She participated in the World Peace Forum in Vancouver and was an international election observer in El Salvador in June, 2006. She co-coordinates Victoria Women in Black.
She has written for Briarpatch, Peace Magazine, Peace News, Third World Resurgence, and other publications. Her essays have been included in the following books:
