Thomas Ager (?1780-1799 fl.) was an English poet.
Life[]
Ager studied at Birkhamstead School, where he translated Eloisa to Abelard into Latin, and wrote The Schoolmaster, an imitation of The Schoolmistress by William Shenstone.
He may be the Thomas Ager of Whitechapel, London, who entered Oriel College, Oxford at 16 in 1792, earning a B.A. in 1796 and an M.A. in 1799, and who studied at Lincoln's Inn in 1796.
