Rev. Thomas Browne (1771-1798) was an English poet.[1]
Life[]
Browne was born near Kirbymoorside, in Yorkshire, the son of a clergyman.[1]
He was educated in grammar school at Hull, and then taught school for 4 years at Yeddingham.[1]
He became editor of the Hull Advertiser in 1797.[1]
He took holy orders shortly before his death.[1]
