The University of Virginia Press (or UVaP), founded in 1963, is a university press that is part of the University of Virginia.
Founded in 1963, UVaP is a member of the Association of American University Presses. UVaP maintains a backlist of over 1,000 titles in print, and publishes fifty to sixty new titles annually. Its editorial program focuses on the humanities and social sciences with special concentration on American history, African American studies, southern studies, literature, ecocriticism, and regional books.[1]
