Rev. William Windle Carr (1735-1791 fl.) was an English poet.

Life[]

Carr was the son of a Yorkshire gentleman. He was educated at Coxwold and Beverley Schools, and then entered Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge, in 1755. He was ordained a deacon in 1779. He published his only volume of poems in 1791.[1]
